Erratum: The last three sentences of this article read:
- “However, one reservation must be stated here. John’s Gospel depicts the very act of creation as being ascribed to the Logos. In Baha’i teaching, God is the creator.”
This is an error. In Baha’i teaching, just as it is written in the prologue to the Gospel of John, creation is an act of the Divine Word or Logos, although ultimately it is also correct to say that God is the creator.
